Phil Sluder - Western US

Phil Sluder is a mechanical engineer from San Diego , California.  He has been active in the SolidWorks community for over 7 years, presenting the very popular “SolidWorks Tips and Tricks” at all seven SolidWorks World Conferences. He is a Certified SolidWorks Instructor (with over 2300 hours of instruction), and a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP). He also finds time to run the local San Diego SolidWorks User Group. His company TriAxial Design and Analysis a SolidWorks Manufacturing Network Partner providing mechanical engineering, design, analysis, and documentation services.

Dan Podzimek - Midwest US

Dan Podzimek is a Mechanical Design Consultant for Solid Services LLC, a SolidWorks Manufacturing Network Partner offering engineering services in the Minneapolis, MN area. In his more than 15 years experience in the Engineering field, he has worked on the design team for products ranging from semiconductor test sockets to road maintenance equipment. He has seen both sides of the CAD industry while working for a local SolidWorks reseller at one point. He is a Certified SolidWorks Support Technician and a Certified SolidWorks Professional. He is a founding member and the current President of the Minnesota SolidWorks User Group (2006 User Group of the Year).

Wayne Tiffany - Southern US

Wayne Tiffany is a Senior Design Engineer at Automatic Systems, Inc. in Kansas City. He is currently the CAD manager for SolidWorks there and has more than five years of SolidWorks experience designing custom machinery for the conveyor and automotive industries. He is the current president of the Kansas City SolidWorks User Group, and is a Certified SolidWorks Professional.

Matt Lombard- Southeast US

Matt Lombard is an independent consultant located in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley.  After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology as a Mechanical Engineer, he worked as a manufacturing engineer for micro electronics companies in Silicon Valley for a number of years, picking up experience in assembly processes and plastic packaging design.  Matt has worked for SolidWorks resellers and as CAD Administrator for 20 users at a photonics manufacturer in Rochester, NY.  In his current venture, Dezignstuff, Matt does implementation consulting and plastics design.

Rob Rodriguez - Eastern US

Rob Rodriguez is a CAD design Specialist / Manager at Rock of Ages Corporation. A SolidWorks user since 1999, Rob achieved CSWP status in 2004. Over the past 11 years Rob has held CAD design positions in a variety of fields including architectural, mechanical and consumer product design. Rob is also the founder and president of the Northern Vermont SolidWorks User Group (NVTSWUG). His website www.robrodriguez.com offers a monthly PhotoWorks rendering contest as well as tips and tutorials to achieve better renderings.

Hal Olguner - Australia/New Zealand

Hal (Alby) Olguner lives and works in Melbourne, Australia. He is currently the Cad Office Manager for a medium sized company, designing and manufacturing interior components for the automotive industry.  Hal holds a Graduate diploma in CAD/CAM, with other degrees in Mechanical Design Drafting, Industrial and Process engineering.  His previous work experiences include, heavy transportation industry, marine/yachting industry, with a great passion for sailing and yacht racing.  Hal and his team have been using SolidWorks as their primary design software since its first release in Australia around 1996/97.

Gareth Rogers - Europe

Gareth Rogers is a Senior Design Engineer at CMP Batteries in Bolton, UK, and has been using SolidWorks since 1999.  He has experience designing batteries, outdoor playground equipment, tube and wire display systems, and furniture.  Gareth started the first officially recognized UK user group (SWUGOM) in 2006.  A freelance CAD designer in his spare time, he is also currently studying toward a PGCE in higher education.

Luc-Etienne Gagnon - Canada

Luc-Etienne Gagnon is a Senior Industrial Designer from Montréal, Québec. He has been using SolidWorks for the past 8 years and is a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP). For the past 2 years, he has also been running the Québec SolidWorks User Group. His company, LEGZ Design Inc., offers industrial design consulting as well as photo-realistic renderings and animations services.
