| What
is a chartered SolidWorks User Group?

- 5 or more member organizations
- An elected or designated chairperson and/or committee
- Regularly held meetings, bi-annual at minimum
- Must be willing to share information and participate in SWUGN
programs that will be beneficial to your user group
SWUGN cannot make available
general user lists outright to a new user group. An individual or
organization with a set plan and agenda for meetings must initiate
new user groups. SWUGN will notify users in your area if requested.
In addition, SWUGN will
not recognize as “official” user groups that are run by resellers
or distributors of SolidWorks products.

SolidWorks/COSMOS
User Group Logo

SWUGN and SolidWorks have
created a user group logo that you can use on your group website,
letterhead, or your group marketing literature. Use of the
SolidWorks User Group or COSMOS User Group logo is contingent on
meeting and continuing to meet the criteria as stated above.
New user groups will be issued a “kit” containing a logo file, certificate
of recognition and other organizational items after your second
group meeting. If you are the leader of an existing group,
and have not been issued your kit, please contact us at usergroups@solidworks.com
